Gold for Inclusive Design

The top honor of the Baden-Württemberg International Design Award was presented on November 5 at the awards ceremony held at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart.

Only eleven projects received gold this year. The independent expert jury recognized a design approach that incorporates accessibility from the very beginning. Developed in collaboration with students and staff, the wayfinding system combines different forms of perception and promotes independence and participation in everyday school life.

Following the IIIDaward 2026 in the Wayfinding category, this is already the second award for the project.

The wayfinding system will be on display at the official FOCUS OPEN exhibition at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart through January 25.
