New life for factory spaces
In the past, barrels, fuel tanks, and even lightweight helmets for Olympic cyclists were manufactured on the Karl Kurz site. After lying dormant for many years, the interior designers at blocher partners, in collaboration with the communications experts at typenraum, have breathed new life into the factory premises, transforming them into a conference and event center. The striking industrial architecture has been preserved. Contrasts created by the use of modern design elements characterize a place that leaves a lasting impression.
The new signage system reflects the aesthetics of the surroundings and is characterized by a sophisticated combination of rough elements in industrial style and high-quality materials; smoky, glossy acrylic panels give it a unique look. A clear floor overview ensures easy orientation, while the integrated numbering in the wooden paneling of the doors ensures that the signage system is elegantly integrated into the architecture.
